What We Collect
When you use Dot Racing, we collect the following information to provide leaderboard and competitive features:
- Nickname - A display name chosen by you for leaderboards
- Game scores and race times - Your performance data in races and endless modes
- Ghost replay data - Recorded gameplay runs that other players can race against
- Statistics - Your ranking points and races completed count
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the game's competitive features:
- Display your scores on public leaderboards
- Calculate and display your ranking relative to other players
- Provide ghost replay opponents for other players
- Track your personal progress and statistics
Where Your Data is Stored
All game data is stored in Apple CloudKit, which is part of Apple's iCloud infrastructure:
- Your nickname and scores are publicly visible on in-game leaderboards
- Data is stored securely on Apple's servers
- We do not share your data with any third parties
- We do not collect email addresses, location data, or other personal information
Your Rights and Control
You have full control over your data:
- Delete your data - You can delete all your data at any time through Settings → Privacy → Delete All My Data
- Data export - To request a copy of your data, contact us at the email below with your nickname
- Nickname permanence - Your nickname cannot be changed once set (to prevent abuse). To use a different nickname, you must delete all your data first
Data Retention
Your data is retained until you choose to delete it. We may periodically remove data from inactive accounts that haven't been accessed for extended periods.
Children's Privacy
Dot Racing does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game is rated for general audiences and does not require an account or email address to play.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
